Yes. Applying costs nothing and there's no obligation if you're accepted. You only pay if you decide to activate your membership.
No. Whatever you agree with a client is yours in full. We're not an agency and we don't sit in the middle of your fee.
A flat monthly subscription — no setup fee, no contract, cancel whenever you want. We send you the current rate with your acceptance, so you decide with the full picture in front of you.
Every application is read by a person, so it takes longer than an automated sign-up. Most people hear back within two weeks, and you'll get an answer either way.
No. Send the best work you have. Phone photos are fine if they show you clearly — we're looking at you, not at your photographer's budget.
No. We take people at the very start of their career alongside people with years of it. What matters is how you come across, not the length of your credits.
Yes. Emrged isn't exclusive and doesn't replace anyone. Plenty of our talent are with an agency for some work and here for the rest.
Your profile is public so brands, photographers, studios and creatives can find you. Your contact details are not — enquiries come through us and land in your inbox.
They send a casting call with the project details straight to your inbox. You decide whether to reply. From there the conversation is yours and we stay out of it.
Fashion, beauty, lifestyle, editorial, commercial and UGC. It varies by market and by what brands happen to be casting.
No fixed requirements. We work across a wide range of ages, heights and looks — the selection is about individuality, not measurements.
Any time. Cancel the subscription and your profile comes down. There's no notice period and nothing to sign.
Talent
Through the apply form on any page. It takes a few minutes and asks for your details and some photographs.
No. Emrged is built for independent talent, and you can be a member whether or not you also have representation.
We send you a private link to build your profile, and a guide that walks through what makes a strong one.
Yes. Your profile is yours to keep current -- new work, new measurements, new photographs.
Nobody. Enquiries come through us and land in your inbox; your details are never published.
You can stop at any time and your profile comes down.
When you press Become a member at the end of your application, not before. You choose your plan and enter your card on the last step, and the payment goes through once your profile has been created.
Nothing is lost. Your profile is already saved, so none of the twenty minutes you just spent goes anywhere — press the button again to try the payment on its own, or use a different card.
Not with us. Your card is typed straight into our payment provider's own secure field and goes directly to them — it never passes through Emrged. We only ever see the card brand and the last four digits.
Yes, by email, every time you're charged — including each renewal. It comes from our payment provider and includes the amount, the card used and the date.
We'll email you the same day to let you know, and remind you twice more over the fortnight that follows. Your profile stays up and visible throughout. If it still hasn't been paid after fourteen days the membership lapses, and it's put straight back the moment a payment goes through — nothing is ever deleted.
Email talent@emrged.com and we'll cancel it for you. There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee — you keep your membership until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Yes — email talent@emrged.com and we'll move you across. Worth doing at the end of a billing period rather than the middle, so you're not paying for two overlapping stretches.
Quarterly is $99 AUD billed every three months, and Annual is $299 AUD billed yearly. Lifetime is $449 AUD once and never again — that is a launch offer limited to twenty memberships, and when they are gone it is gone. All three give you the same profile and the same visibility.
Go to emrged.com/membership/card, put in the email address your membership is under, and we'll send you a secure link to add a new card. Nothing is charged for changing a card. The link works once and lasts a few days, and if a renewal has already failed it settles that at the same time — so you can do it before your card expires or after, whichever you get to first.
